A Visit for Art students to Salahuddin Citadel
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, President of City University of Cairo & the former Minister of Antiquities, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Sabri, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design. And Prof. Shimaa Mustafa, vice-Dean of the faculty. A field visit was orgainsed on Tuesday 14 May 2024 for first-level students of Interior Architecture and Digital Design Program to Salahuddin Citadel, which is located on the top of Mukattam Mountain . The students were accompanied by Prof. Shimaa Mustafa , vice-Dean of the faculty, and Ms. Dina El-Tamimi & Ms. Asma Ez.,TAs, who explained the most significant monuments and took a tour around the citadel including Mohamed Ali Mosque, Police Mosque, The Military Museum and The Citadel Prison.
