Vice President of Ain Shams University for Student Affairs and Former Education His Excellency obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a grade of distinction with honors – Faculty of Science – Ain Shams University – (June 1967), then a Master’s degree in Scientific Accounts and Space Sciences – Faculty of Science – Ain Shams University (June 1970), and a Ph.D. in Scientific Accounts and Space Sciences – Faculty of Science – Ain Shams University in partnership with Uppsala University, Sweden (October 1973). He rose in academic positions from a teaching assistant to a professor, held the position of Vice President of Ain Shams University for Student Affairs and Education (2002 – 2006), Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University (1996 – 2002), Director of the Scientific Computation Center – Ain Shams University (1995). – 2002). He published more than 210 research papers in the field of computer science and scientific calculations, and supervised more than 60 master’s theses, 35 PhD theses at Ain Shams University and a number of Egyptian universities. He participated in the arbitration of more than 100 master’s theses, 50 doctoral theses in many Egyptian, Arab and international universities, and the arbitration of more than 350 research papers in the field of computer science for approval for publication, for a number of local and international journals and conferences. He supervised the issuance of periodicals and scientific journals published in the field of computers and information technology at Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Computers and Information, as well as at the Ministry of Communications and Information, such as the International Journal of Software Engineering (IJSE) and the International Journal of Information Sciences and Intelligent Computers (IJICIS). He supervised many development projects in the field of information systems at Ain Shams University, the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank. Assisting in the creation and installation of many libraries of scientific computer programs – for the Bartorl Institute, University of Delaware, United States of America. He has more than 12 publications in the fields of computers, artificial intelligence, data security, and the Internet. His Excellency obtained more than 50 certificates of appreciation and letters of thanks from various local and international scientific bodies in the field of information systems and computer technology.
