The University of Sao Paulo, ranked 118th globally, with its Dentistry program ranking 15th globally according to the QS ranking, has signed an agreement for scientific, student, faculty, administrative, and technical staff exchange with the Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery - City University of Cairo. It is the largest university in Brazil and one of the top institutions of higher education and research in Latin America. The Law School was established in 1827, the first of its kind, and in 1934 the university was founded after the unification of several previously existing colleges. The university is located in Sao Paulo state, the wealthiest and most developed region in Brazil, with campuses distributed across eight cities: Bauru, Lorena, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, Ribeirão Preto, São Carlos, Santos, and São Paulo.It comprises 42 colleges, 6 specialized institutes, and four important museums. It represents about 20% of the total academic output in Brazil. It is a public university and does not charge tuition fees for its students.Over 11,000 new students enroll annually in undergraduate programs, selected from over 130,000 applicants. It has over 90,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs, and 9,000 faculty members, 87% of whom have full-time employment contracts.
