Field Visit to the Swedish Company: Interior Design Students Explore Sustainable Building Materials
As part of its ongoing efforts to bridge academic learning with real-world industry experience, CUC organized a field visit for second-year students from the Department of Interior Design, Faculty of Art and Design, to the headquarters of the Swedish Company on March 25, 2025.
The visit was held under the patronage of Professor Mohamed Ibrahim, University President, and Professor Mohamed Sabry, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design. It was supervised by Associate Prof. Ahmed Nagi and Engineer Noha Bahaa.
During the visit, students were welcomed by Engineer Emad El-Bahy, Chairman of the Company. They attended a technical presentation delivered by Engineer Sherif Ehab, Engineer Amr Hassanein, and Engineer Minas Emil, who introduced the company’s product range, including sustainable and eco-friendly flooring and ceiling finishing materials. The session provided students with valuable insight into the engineering specifications and applications of these innovative materials.
The visit reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing student learning through hands-on exposure to professional environments, and to preparing future designers with a solid understanding of industry standards and sustainability practices.
