Architecture Department:

The Architecture program addresses the design and construction of buildings, combining engineering, art, mathematics, and science with logistical services. The program includes training in both manual and computer-aided techniques for producing detailed building designs. It also covers the study of sustainable architecture and construction for the future. Architectural engineers leverage their knowledge of physics, engineering, and mathematics to create aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound designs. As a result, many architectural engineers collaborate with landscape engineers, interior designers, and urban planners to develop comprehensive plans for cities or entire regions. The Architecture and Urban Planning program aims to equip students with the interdisciplinary skills and knowledge required to design, construct, and integrate buildings and urban environments that are not only functionally and structurally robust, but also aesthetically appealing and environmentally sustainable. This holistic approach prepares graduates to address the complex challenges of modern architectural and urban planning projects.
