Physical Therapy for Pediatrics and its Surgery 
The Department of Pediatrics is dedicated to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of children experiencing developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, or congenital conditions. It focuses on maximizing each child’s functional independence through specialized, age-appropriate therapeutic interventions.

1. Primary Objectives:

•    Support children in achieving the highest possible level of motor independence
•    Improve balance, gait, and neuromuscular coordination

2. Common Conditions Treated:
•    Cerebral palsy
•    Developmental motor delays
•    Muscular dystrophy (e.g., Duchenne)
•    Birth-related nerve injuries (e.g., Erb’s Palsy)
•    Spinal deformities and foot anomalies
•    Genetic or hereditary disorders affecting movement
