Physical Therapy Department for Disease & surgery of Musculoskeletal system
It is one of the most critical clinical departments within the Faculty of Physical Therapy. It is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, and muscles.

Core Focus Areas
1. Primary Objectives:

•    Restore the functional integrity of joints, muscles, and bones
•    Alleviate pain and improve range of motion and mobility

2. Common Conditions Treated:
•    Fractures (post-casting or post-surgical rehabilitation)
•    Disc herniation (slipped disc)
•    Joint degeneration (especially in the knees and spine)
•    Tendonitis and arthritis
•    Musculoskeletal deformities, such as scoliosis
•    Sports injuries

3. Therapeutic Modalities Used:
•    Therapeutic exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination
•    Ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and hot/cold compresses
•    Traction and orthopedic realignment devices
•    Manual therapy techniques for joint mobilization and soft tissue release

Students receive hands-on training in:
