Organization of a Scientific Workshop in Collaboration with "Servo Med" Company Specializing in "Robotic Neuro-rehabilitation"
In recognition of the importance of continuous education and the university's commitment to enhancing the scientific and practical skills of students in the Faculty of Physical Therapy to meet the needs of the labor market, and under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Ali, President of City University of Cairo (CUC) and former Minister of Antiquities, and under the supervision of Prof. Amir Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and Prof. Ahmed Genidi, Vice Dean of the Faculty, a scientific workshop was organized in collaboration with "Servo Med" Company, specializing in the field of "Robotic Neuro-rehabilitation."
The workshop, which took place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, included a scientific lecture on the operation of robotic devices and a discussion of various cases, with the presence of Dr. Dominika Kozak, an international expert in the field. The workshop was attended by Dr. Tarek Marwan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Radwa Shalaby, and several faculty members and
teaching assistants. The workshop focused on spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic conditions, and other cases related to robotic neuro-rehabilitation.
